“My experience with Darren6 was extraordinary! In our program, we were experiencing difficulties with reaching and addressing certain issues that came up for our young men of color. Some issues were sexual assault, truancy, isolation, low self-esteem. I wanted a presentation for my staff that would address some of these issues we're experiencing with our students. Darren6 came in and facilitated a workshop that not only gave dynamic and impactful visuals but most importantly took a micro and macro look at levels of societal/global impact vs. family/interpersonal impact. The facilitator took the time to hear about every case and concern we had which was helpful in how to move forward and approach each case with intent. He brought in real life experience which was so helpful. He also gave a clear picture of how young men of color carry a lot on their shoulders, and how it impacts their day to day functioning. It really shed light on how much young boys are carrying from all corners of the world and its impact!
It was so helpful to gain knowledge of a population that we are primarily serving. Darren6 helped raise our awareness of the multiple forms of oppression that young black men are facing every day and the ways in which systems and institutions are working against them."

Darren 6 events is hands down the best event planning organization we have encountered thus far. Our non-profit organization was referred to them to host our Paint for a Purpose fundraiser. From our first meeting, they were professional and transparent about all they would provide and what was needed from us for the event. They even referred us to music and food vendors that were just as reliable. Our fundraiser was such a success. Our attendees could not stop saying how much they enjoyed the painting session. The facilitator and his assistant were so much fun and professional! They managed their time well and ended right on time.
As a small business/organization we always want to make sure we provide our supporters with quality events since they support us with their donations. We could not have gotten more quality than we did with Darren 6 events! They are worth every dollar you’ll spend! We so look forward to working with Darren 6 on many more events to come and you should too!
